Jeff Carver Music

Hi Everyone!!

Well, this Spring has been an incredible time for me. The band I play with regularly, High & Mighty, slowed their schedule enough for me to begin and expand projects I have had little time for.

First, I am playing much  more flugelhorn the last 5-6 months, and that has been both fulfilling and fun! I do not have the opportunity play flugelhorn with High & Mighty anymore, so all the new opportunities which have been presented have really come at a great time! I have been blessed to perform  with outstanding Twin City jazz instrumentalists and legends including Ricky Peterson, Tony Axtell, Donnie LaMarca, Billy Peterson, Phil Kadidlo, Billy Franze, Peter Schmike, Dan Thayer, Wayne Cullinan to name just a few. I have been simply amazed by multiple performing opportunities with unbelievable  jazz and R&B vocalists like Patty Peterson, Kimberly Michaels, Aimee Fischer, Carol Z (who I tell you more about below) and others. I have been performing mostly flugelhorn (my new Jupiter XO) with these artists. How fun...and what wonderful people to share music!

In conjunction with my all the new jazz and jazz-pop playing, I have begun a musical collaboration with a few friends to form a new band..and what a band it is! My group is called The Jeff Carver Band. It's an always evolving smooth jazz, pop, acoustic group in the sophisticated styles and versatility of Chris Botti, Diana Krall, Sting, Josh Groban, Michael Buble'and many other contemporary entertainers. This is the band I have always wanted to do!!!

The Jeff Carver Band will be performing at local jazz clubs, wine bars, intimate night spots, private events, and settings where you come to hear and feel the music. My group boasts unbelievable talent and passion...including the beautiful and passionate vocals of Carol Z, Phil Kadidlo's amazing keys, vocals and orchestrations, and Wayne "Wayne-O" Cullinan displaying awesome vocals and percussion. By the way, all three are fantastic songwriters and we do some of our own gorgeous originals! I will add my flugelhorn and trumpet signature to this great group of musicians for a hip, yet classic sound you will not hear from anyone else in our area!
