Hi Everyone!!! I am forming a new band that I am very excited about!  I will still be performing with High & Mighty when possible but there are a lot of other types of music I really enjoy playing. Since High & Mighty performs just upbeat, high-energy dance music (which I LOVE to play!!), there is really no place for me to do flugelhorn work and to play the Chris Botti jazz and Quincy Jones funk I really enjoy performing...and many of you request me to play.

We have just put together our song list for our first concert in May and I really think you will love it!! I will have more information on that soon!

I have pulled together some of the best musicians around to make this all happen and I couldnt be happier with all the cats I get to work with. The band is 7 pieces...me, a killin' rhythm section and one of the best vocalists you have ever heard!

What really excites me about this project is that I will be able to do all the things I want to do on trumpet and flugelhorn with some incredibly swingin' musicians! Look for more information after our first rehearsal in a couple weeks!!!

International Trumpet Tour

I have been chosen to take part in an International Trumpet Festival and Tour representing Jupiter Band Instruments, International. Seven trumpet players are taking part including me and Roger Ingram, Lead trumept player for the Harry Connick Jr. Orchestra. I don't know the dates of the tour yet.

One More Thing...a Trio!!

I have also started a trio with Carol Z on vocals, keys and guitar; and Wayne "Wayne-O" Cullinan on guitar, keys and percussion. Carol is an unbelievable singer and my flugelhorn and trumpet style seems to fit her sound very well.  Wayne-O is a fantastic singer, too, and has entertained with the top talent in the Twin Cities for years! We do all kinds of songs and styles and this will be a fun band for listening and hanging out.  I play trumpet and lotsa flugelhorn, too. I'll start posting live dates to see this band very soon!
